Country singer-songwriter Greylan James is entering a new chapter of his career as his music reaches a wider audience.
The rising Nashville artist is preparing to release his self-titled debut album on November 13, 2026, following the success of his single Water at a Wedding. The song has earned James his first appearance on the Billboard Hot 100 and a place in the Top 20 at country radio.
James spent years building his reputation as a songwriter before stepping into the spotlight as a performer. His writing credits include songs recorded by Morgan Wallen, Jordan Davis, and Kenny Chesney.
His relationship with Chesney dates back to childhood, when the country superstar encouraged him to continue his education and develop his songwriting abilities. The two eventually became collaborators.
James also celebrated his Grand Ole Opry debut in October 2026, adding another milestone to his growing career.
With a debut album arriving and plans to join Chesney’s stadium tour in 2027, James is expanding his presence in country music.
