General Contest Rules

Specific contest rules for each of our prizes are specified by clicking the links above. Here are our general contest rules designed to assure everyone an equal chance of winning:
1. Contests are open to all Florida residents, 18 years or older, with the exception of employees of Marc Media Group, LLC, Marc Radio Lakeland, LLC, (collectively, “Sponsor”), their respective parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising sponsors and promotional agencies, and the immediate family and household members of each. The term “immediate family” includes spouses, parents, siblings, grandparents, children, grandchildren and cohabitating significant others.
2. Only one winner per household for any contest in a 30 day period. Individuals may only win one contest in any 30 day period, unless otherwise noted.
3. No purchase necessary to enter. Contests are void where prohibited by law.
4. All of our prizing is inputted into our online system, claimed digitally, and then either mailed or transferred digitally. You MUST have a working email address in order to win. This email should be yours, but can be a close relative or friend if you do not have email.
5. You will receive an email from our prizing system to confirm your win. This email will outline how you will receive your prize. Then, within one business day, you will receive a secondary “Prize Claim” email. You will need to follow the instructions in those emails to properly claim your prize. No prize will be distributed until it is properly claimed.
6. Certain restrictions may apply to certain contests. All winners must sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Contest Release Form granting Marc Radio Lakeland, LLC, affiliates, agencies, subsidiaries, representatives and successor/assigns, permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices and likenesses in connection with promotion of this or other contests and must waive any claim of royalty, rights or remuneration for such use.
7. The person who claims the prize must be the same person who calls in to win and must present a valid Florida photo ID (uploaded securely into our prizing system) and sign all necessary release forms in order to receive their prize. Prizes are non-transferable. Concert tickets may not be sold.
8. Marc Radio Lakeland, LLC shall be the final arbiter as to any questions that might arise about contestant qualifications or procedures.
9. Marc Radio Lakeland, LLC is not responsible if a listener is unable to get through on the telephone for a contest, whether due to telephone equipment malfunction, busy lines or otherwise. Telephone contestants may have their voice recorded for later broadcast.
12. Winners are solely responsible for reporting and paying taxes on prizes and will be issued an IRS Form 1099, if applicable. Winners of prizes valued at $2000 or more must complete a W-9 when claiming their prize. The station is responsible for generating a 1099 at years end for tax reporting requirements. All winners of prizes or cash valued at more than $2000 are responsible for claiming the value of the prize as additional income on their Federal Income Tax return during the year they claimed the prize. Prior to 12/31/25, prizes valued at $600 or more must complete a W-9. After 12/31/25, the prize value is $2000 or more.
13. For any contest that includes bus or limousine service, the designated pickup and drop-off location will be the Marc Radio Lakeland, LLC studios at 404 W. Lime St. in Lakeland, unless otherwise noted.
14. Marc Radio Lakeland, LLC and/or contest sponsors are not responsible for any delay, cancellation or rescheduling of any event and no substitution or compensation shall be awarded.
