According to Billboard, the country star will host the 60th Annual CMA Awards on November 18 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. The role makes Wilson the first woman to solo-host the CMA Awards twice.

This will be Wilson’s third consecutive year as a CMA Awards host and her second year handling the ceremony on her own. She previously shared hosting duties with Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning in 2024 before taking over as solo host in 2025.

The announcement was made during ESPN’s College GameDay broadcast from Louisiana State University in Wilson’s home state of Louisiana. The 12-time CMA Award winner said she was especially excited to return with this year’s show marking six decades of the CMA Awards.

The ceremony will air live on ABC and Disney+, with streaming available on Hulu the following day. The nominees for this year’s awards are scheduled to be revealed on September 10.

Her statement also raised concerns about the amount of AI-generated material, misinformation, and insensitive commentary circulating online since Dolly’s death. Stella said the constant stream of fabricated content has been difficult for the family to absorb or ignore while dealing with their loss.

She encouraged people to remember Dolly through the values she demonstrated during her life, including kindness, tolerance, and respect for others. Stella also noted that her sister often avoided divisive public discussions and preferred to focus her energy on bringing people together.

During an appearance on The Benny Show, Rich said country audiences place a high value on authenticity and suggested Jelly Roll knew some fans could react strongly to views they had not previously heard from him. Among the planned updates, the Robert F. Thomas Chapel will receive a cascading mountainside waterfall and new stained-glass windows inspired by the changing seasons of the Great Smoky Mountains. Nearby Sevierville is developing an In Dolly’s Footsteps walking tour highlighting locations tied to Parton’s childhood and family history. Several of the new Dollywood features are expected to open with the park’s 2027 season.

Organizers announced that the mazes, spread across 15 U.S. states and two Canadian provinces, were designed to celebrate the 31st anniversary of Parton’s Imagination Library. The project was planned before her death on August 25, 2026, and participating farms are now also treating the attractions as tributes to her life and work.

Each location features a Dolly-inspired maze created by The MAiZE Inc., along with activities that may include trivia, photo opportunities and other seasonal attractions. A portion of proceeds from participating farms will support local Imagination Library programs.

Parton founded the Imagination Library in 1995 after being inspired by her father’s inability to read and write. The program provides free books to children from birth to age five and has expanded internationally.

The corn maze campaign continues a series that previously featured country artists Reba McEntire, Luke Bryan and Lainey Wilson.

Officials with the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce said the star was already scheduled for repairs because of existing cracks. After fans’ flowers and other tributes were cleared to make way for the work, fresh scratches were discovered across Parton’s name. A fan also reported that flowers had been taken from the memorial.

Repair crews began work on September 1, removing the brass emblem and replacing the surrounding black terrazzo. The Hollywood Historic Trust said the restoration was moved forward following Parton’s death to honor her life and legacy. The restored star is expected to be polished and ready for visitors by Friday.

Parton received her solo Walk of Fame star in 1984. Following her death on August 25, fans gathered at the Hollywood Boulevard site with flowers, cards, candles, and messages celebrating her decades-long career in country music and entertainment.
