Robert Plant & Alison Krauss Play Led Zeppelin’s ‘Rock And Roll’ Live For The First Time

Robert Plant and Alison Krauss recently performed Led Zeppelin‘s “Rock And Roll” live for the first time.

Plant and Krauss kicked off their 2022 Raise the Roof tour on Wednesday, June 1, at the Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center in Canandaigua, New York.

This was the pair’s first extended set together since wrapping up the Raising Sand tour in 2009. They also performed songs like “Rich Woman,” “Fortune Teller,” “Gone Gone Gone,” and “Can’t Let Go.”

“Rock and Roll” first appeared on the 1971 Led Zeppelin IV album. Although the song was not a huge hit at the time of its release, it has gained cult status. It was included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s 500 Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll.
