Elle King and Miranda Lambert‘s “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” has topped Billboard‘s Country Airplay chart.
According to Billboard, the single became the first female duet to reach the top of the charts in almost thirty years following Reba McEntire and Linda Davis‘ “Does He Love You” in 1993. “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” rose from No. 3 to No. 1 in its 46th week on the chart dated April 16.
The single, which dropped on February 26, 2021 via the RCA/Columbia Nashville, earned 24.8 million audience impressions, up by 7%, according to Luminate, formerly MRC Data.
“The life of this song has taught me so much: Everything has its own time and path,” King told Billboard. “And when in doubt, add Miranda Lambert. I am so thankful to you, Miranda – you are a shining light, and nobody makes me laugh harder than you. I am so unbelievably proud of us, and our song.”
