Country star Kelsea Ballerini recently shared a music video for her latest single “Heartfirst.”

The music video shows Ballerini as a girl who bumps into a guy on the street and instantly falls for him. The video finds Ballerini riding a rollercoaster through the clouds, lying on top of a craps table and singing and playing a guitar next to a cheetah in the desert.

“This is only the second time I’ve written a video treatment, but I just had such a strong visual while writing ‘Heartfirst’ that I couldn’t get out of my head,” Ballerini said.

She added, “I wanted each vignette to represent a different side of the metaphor of chance while maintaining a breezy, whimsyness throughout. We start with a ’90s rom-com run-in, and then we go on a journey of my character’s reaction.”

“Heartfirst” is the debut single from Ballerini’s forthcoming fourth album, which she recently finished.
