Miranda Lambert Joins Brooks & Dunn Onstage For Impromptu Performance

Miranda Lambert joined Brooks & Dunn during the course of their “Reboot Tour” concert at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on June 18 after Ronnie Dunn wanted to have her onstage on learning about her presence in the building.

“Somebody said Miranda Lambert was here tonight,” Dunn said while singing “Cowgirls Don’t Cry.” “We didn’t rehearse this, so she’s not gonna show up. Miranda, you back there?”

Miranda got onstage and gave an impromptu performance of the duo’s 2007 hit after Dunn called her out a few times.

“I can’t hear s-t. I was out there gettin’ drunk, enjoyin’ the show . What?!” she told the crowd.

“That’s not fair to Miranda, but Miranda can walk out here and do anything unrehearsed,” Dunn said. “It’s all about being real.”

“I swear to you I just pulled her out of the audience. She had no idea,” Ronnie told the audience. Lambert added, “I would’ve worn my fishnets and my Spanx if I had known.”

“I just got to sing with B&D in Nashville, Tennessee, y’all! Well, I’m going to drink, y’all go entertain them,” she said.

Then, as she started to walk offstage, Kix Brooks waved her back as the intro to “Neon Moon” began to play. The three harmonized on the chart-topping hit before letting the audience take over on the chorus.
