Hank Williams Jr. is planning to open a bar in downtown Nashville, joining a growing list of country stars to open their own bars in Music City.
According to a permit filed with the city, the singer’s joint will be called the Hank Williams Jr. Boogie Bar. The concept will takeover the Nashville Crossroads space, located at 419 Broadway. Williams’ spot will be nestled between Alan Jackson‘s AJ’s Good Time Bar and the Ernest Tubb Record Shop.
Williams has teamed with property owner Brad Sanderson and Big Plan Holdings, which will operate the venue.
Besides Williams, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, Kid Rock, Jimmy Buffett, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan are among the stars who have establishments in the area.
Garth Brooks and Eric Church are expected to open their multi-level units this year.
