A new trailer for 11 Minutes, a four-part documentary on the mass shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas that took place in 2017, features country star Jason Aldean.
The docuseries, produced by See It Now Studios, features the first in-depth interview from Aldean, who was performing when the 11-minute shooting spree began.
“Vegas was always one of the shows for me I always looked forward to,” Aldean says in the trailer. “It was like any other day, crews are out, working, getting ready for the show.”
Media personality Storme Warren, who was on the stage that day, emceeing the event, says the world changed for them as the first bullets rained down at 10:06 p.m.
“We watched the people fall in the crowd. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom,” Warren says.
The series, which also features interviews with concertgoers, emergency trauma teams, first responders, police, and FBI agents, will arrive on Paramount+ on September 27.
Helmed by Emmy and Peabody-winning director Jeff Zimbalist, the series also features shots from police bodycam footage and 200 hours of cell phone video.
The massacre on that dreaded night left 58 people dead and more than 800 injured. The shooter fired down on the crowd from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel.
