Old Dominion take a trip down memory lane with their new song.

“Memory Lane” was released on Thursday and also made its radio debut simultaneously.

The song was co-written by Old Dominion lead singer Matthew Ramsey, guitarist Brad Tursi and keyboardist Trevor Rosen with hit songs lyricist Jessie Jo Dillon.

The nostalgic song’s video features Ramsey holding back powerful emotions while drifting back to romantic days with his old lover.

The multi-Platinum selling five-member country music band teased the sentimental track on TikTok Sunday, leaving fans excited for its release.

Speaking about the song, Ramsey said, “Sometimes, when I’m feeling overwhelmed, or missing someone, or maybe just feel a little nostalgic, there are places in my mind I can go that are full of memories of simpler times. It’s a location, or a person, or a feeling that will always live in my memories and I can close my eyes and transport myself there anytime I want and experience it all again.”

He added, “I think we all have that time in our life that will remain forever perfect in our hearts. Sometimes we wish we could just stay there and never leave.”
