Taylor Swift is facing another copyright lawsuit after an author sued the pop superstar alleging that she copied the Lover book design.

In a complaint filed in Tennessee federal court, author Teresa La Dart seeks over a million dollars from Swift, alleging the singer copied the author’s 2010 self-published book of poetry, “Lover” for the companion booklet for the 2019 Lover album.

La Dart claimed that “a number of creative elements” were copied into Swift’s book, including “poems, anecdotes and photos.”

“The defendants to this day have neither sought, nor obtained, a license from TLD of her creative design element rights, nor have they given any credit to TLD . let alone provided any monetary payments,” La Dart’s attorney William S. Parks wrote in the complaint, according to Billboard.

The alleged similarities between La Dart’s book and Swift’s book include covers that both feature “pastel pinks and blues,” as well as an image of the author “photographed in a downward pose.”
