Vince Gill canceled three of his music concerts this week after his wife Amy Grant was hospitalized following a bike accident.
Gill’s performances, which were scheduled to be held at the Ovens Auditorium in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Thursday, at the Capitol One Hall in Tysons, Virginia, on Friday, and at the same venue on Saturday, remain cancelled, his representative confirmed.
Amy Grant suffered cuts and bruises after she fell while cycling with a friend near the Harpeth Hills Golf Course in Nashville on Wednesday.
The 61 year old “Baby Baby” singer was admitted to Vanderbilt Medical Center, where she stayed overnight for treatment and observation.
Grant is in stable condition, according to her spokesperson.
“Thank you to all those offering prayers and well wishes for Amy after her bike crash yesterday,” a message posted by ‘Team Amy’ on Grant’s Facebook page says. “She is in the hospital receiving treatment but in stable condition.”
“She is expected to go home later this week where she will continue to heal. Your kind thoughts and heartfelt prayers are felt and received. Amy was wearing her helmet and we would remind you all to do the same,” the post added.
